PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical element module that allows high-speed signal transmission between an image pickup element having a large number of pixels and a signal processor and can be reduced in size, an optical transmission module, and a manufacturing method of the optical transmission module.SOLUTION: An optical element module 50 comprises: a surface emission laser 2 including a light-emitting part 12 outputting an optical signal; a substrate 1 on which the surface emission laser 2 is mounted; and a guide holding member 3 that has an optical fiber 4 insertion through hole 10 receiving an optical signal outputted from the light-emitting part 12 and a storage part 6 storing the surface emission laser 2. The storage part 6 has an inner wall surface in contact with at least two intersecting surfaces of outer peripheral side surfaces of the surface emission laser 2, or at least two surfaces of the outer peripheral side surfaces, the two surfaces through which two intersecting planes pass. |
