PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of image quality even if communication between a transmitter and a receiver is decelerated, in a system in which an image is transmitted from the transmitter to the receiver to be displayed.SOLUTION: With respect to respective regions obtained by dividing image regions of first and second images, first similarity between the first image and the second image is calculated. A threshold is determined in accordance with the transmission rate of a communication path. In accordance with the first similarity and the threshold, both pieces of data on the first image and the second image are selected, or data on one image obtained from at least one of the first image and the second image is selected. The selected data is transmitted to the receiver. |
