The invention provides a plunger, a resin molding machine, and a method of resin molding in order to prevent generation of bad sliding. An annular recessed portion (14) is disposed on the front end portion (11) of a plunger (10) along the circumferential direction of a plunger axis (10a). In the annular recessed portion (14), an external diameter larger than the internal diameter of a padding chamber and multiple metallic rings (12) of a notch portion (13) with by a cut part are provided in order to achieve assembly in an overlapping manner in the plunger axis (10a) direction for elastic deformation in the padding chamber in cooperation with the padding chamber. Mutually-overlapped metallic rings (12, 12) are assembled as the notch portions (13, 13) of the metallic rings (12, 12) and are discontinuous. |
