PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain, when any distortion of a picture is to be corrected, occurrence of interpolation errors in a case of low regularity of coordinate conversion while reducing the size of a coordinate conversion table.SOLUTION: A coordinate value memory 11 stores a coordinate conversion table containing coordinate values of corrected representative points and, as corrected sub-representative points positioned between the representative points, relative values referencing the coordinate values of the corrected representative points. An interpolation calculator 13, when a pixel is designated, weights the coordinate values of corrected representative points near the designated pixel with the relative values of the corrected sub-representative points near the designated pixel, and calculates the corrected coordinate values of the designated pixel accordingly. |
