Provided are an image recording device whereby the ventilation amount of a plurality of ventilation ports and/or the air supply amount of a plurality of air supply ports provided to the device can easily be adjusted to a specific ventilation amount and/or air supply amount, a ventilation adjustment method for the image recording device, and an air supply adjustment method. An image recording device provided with individual ducts 102A-102D connected to ventilation ports 58a-58d, a shared chamber 104, a shared duct 106, and a blower 120, wherein a ventilation adjustment method for adjusting the ventilation amount from each of the ventilation ports 58a-58d to a specific ventilation amount comprises calculating a regulation amount for airflow of each of the individual ducts 102A-102D necessary for ventilation at a specific ventilation amount from each of the ventilation ports 58a-58d and a set value for the airflow of the shared duct 106, using the individual duct in which the maximum pressure is required as a reference. An airflow valve or an orifice plate is provided to the individual ducts 102A-102D, and airflow is regulated according to the calculated regulation amount. Meanwhile, the airflow of the shared duct 106 is adjusted to the calculated set value by the airflow valve. |
