摘要 In an inverted pendulum type vehicle 1, one control mode out of a plurality of control modes is selected based on the detection result of the inclination state of an occupant riding section 5 by an inclination sensor 22 that is a fundamental constituent of the vehicle 1. Motion of a first actuator device (electric motor 8a and 8b) and a second actuator device (electric motor 17) is controlled according to the selected control mode selected. Thus, a user can select a control mode even though additional means for mode selection are omitted.
