PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new application of a crosslinked acrylate-based fiber based on its antiviral performance in consideration of the fact that, although a variety of techniques concerning eradication of virus or suppression of virus propagation are proposed according to increased needs for virus removal, it has not known at all that the crosslinked acrylate-based fiber has an antiviral performance.SOLUTION: The antiviral crosslinked acrylate-based fiber is obtained by subjecting an acrylic fiber to a crosslinking treatment with a nitrogen-containing compound having two or more nitrogen atoms in one molecule and a hydrolysis treatment and then treating the acrylic fiber with an acid. |
