PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce image defects to be generated in an area for development.SOLUTION: A developing apparatus (G) includes: a first developing member (21) having a first magnet member (21a) with a first magnetic pole (S22) arranged in accordance with a position where an image holding body (PR) faces the first developing member (21); and a second developing member (22) arranged downstream of the first developing member (21) and having a second magnet member (22a) with a second magnetic pole (S12), having the same polarity as the first magnetic pole (S22), arranged in accordance with a position where the image holding body (PR) faces the second developing member (22). The first magnetic pole (S22) is arranged in a position shifted downstream in a rotation direction of the image holding body (PR) with respect to an imaginary line segment (51) connecting a rotation center (PRa) of the image holding body (PR) with a rotation center (21c) of a first rotating body (21b). |
