PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk drive capable of adjusting the inclination of an optical pick up using a low-cost and simply configured sub guide rail.SOLUTION: An optical pickup 4 is reciprocally supported by a primary guide rail 2 and a sub guide rail 3 fixed on a chassis 1. The sub guide rail 3 includes: a flat guide plate 11 extending in the direction of movement of the optical pickup 4; a pair of adjustment units 12 and 13 protruding from both ends in the longitudinal direction of the guide plate 11 to the reverse side of the optical pickup 4; and a pair of spring plate units 14 and 15 bending from respective adjustment units 12 and 13 to extend in parallel to the longitudinal direction of the guide plate 11. The sub guide rail is fixed onto the chassis 1 by inserting a pair of adjustment screws 10 into through holes 12a and 13a of the adjustment units 12 and 13 to screw them into screw holes 1a and 1b, respectively. The height relative to the chassis 1 is adjustable by the tightening degree of the adjustment screws 10. |
