PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording apparatus enabled to prevent contamination on a sheet due to contacting with a recording part when recording an image on both sides of the sheet.SOLUTION: An inkjet recording apparatus performs: executing heading processing (S23) in a state (S21-S22) where a carriage is arranged at a position of a sensor facing a passing zone of a sheet being transported by a transport part in a first recording process of recording an image on a front surface of the sheet; executing heading processing (S33) in a state (S31-S32) in a state where the carriage is arranged at a position apart from the passing zone in a second recording process of recording an image on a back surface of the sheet; and further executing sheet-facing processing (S34) for moving the carriage to a position of the sensor facing the sheet transported in the heading processing (S33). |
