PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an individual operation detector capable of detecting individual operation reliably, and to provide an individual operation detecting method.SOLUTION: An inverter section 20 is made to output an AC current where a harmonic AC current of a specific order is superposed on the fundamental-wave AC current, an individual operation determination section 25 temporarily determines the possibility of individual operation based on the fact whether or not harmonic AC currents exceeding a reference amount are contained in the AC voltage measured in a measuring section 22, and when there is a possibility of individual operation as a result of the temporarily determination, determines individual operation of a distributed power supply system based on the fact whether or not the frequency of AC voltage has changed over a reference value. |
