PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the accurate and reliable positioning between an electrolyte membrane-electrode structure with a frame and a metal separator, with a simple and economic constitution.SOLUTION: In a power generation unit 12 constituting a fuel cell 10, an electrolyte membrane-electrode structure 14 with a frame is held by a first metal separator 16 and a second metal separator 18. The electrolyte membrane-electrode structure 14 with a frame and the first metal separator 16 are positioned with each other via a positioning mechanism 60. The positioning mechanism 60 includes: a plurality of projecting portions 62a provided to a resin frame member 50; and a plurality of recessed portions 62b provided to the first metal separator 16, each of the projecting portions 62a being fitted to each of the recessed portions 62b. |
