PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a field camera in which composition of a photographic image and a state of a subject can be easily confirmed in live view display at the time of imaging with a light field camera.SOLUTION: A light filed camera includes: an imaging optical system having an imaging lens, an aperture and a micro lens array; and imaging means for photoelectrically converting light having passed the imaging optical system, determines an aperture value in accordance with a command input by a user, controls the aperture on the basis of the determined aperture value, controls the aperture with the aperture value for applying depth of filed covering at least a plurality of regions of an imaged image regardless of the aperture value at the time of imaging in accordance with an imaging command in the case of a live view mode in which imaging is performed in a predetermined cycle, and controls the aperture with the aperture value at the time of imaging in accordance with the imaging command in the case that it is detected that the imaging command is input during the live view mode. |
