PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a moving celestial body efficiently in image data captured by changing a direction of an imaging apparatus according to diurnal motion.SOLUTION: A moving celestial body detection apparatus for detecting a moving celestial body imaged in a line segment-shape in image data captured by changing a direction of an imaging apparatus according to diurnal motion includes: acquisition means for acquiring image data; filtering means which performs filtering on a pixel of interest constituting the image data by using filters referring to a plurality of line segment areas of different directions, to calculate an addition value based on the sum of pixel values indicating pixels included in the line segment area; selection means for selecting a selection value of the pixel of interest from the multiple addition values obtained from the filtering means; and determination means for determining whether the pixel of interest indicates a moving celestial body by evaluating the selection value selected by the selection means. |
