PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring system capable of enabling a monitor to easily avoid danger to be exerted on monitoring targets by gradually evaluating monitoring levels based on actions and events of the monitoring targets and notifying the monitor of the gradually evaluated monitoring levels.SOLUTION: The monitoring system includes: video cameras 2 previously set to monitor infants and capable of acquiring images of balconies 50; a control apparatus 6 for classifying infant's actions or events displayed on the images into a plurality of items, evaluating itemized monitoring levels based on the classified infant's actions and events by multiple level evaluation, integrating the gradually evaluated itemized monitoring levels and evaluating the integrated monitoring level by the multiple level evaluation; and monitors 4a and 4b, speakers 3a, 3b and 3c and portable terminals 5 for notifying childcare workers of notification contents corresponding to the integrated monitoring level. |
