PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter cloth travel mechanism in a filter press which causes four filter cloths provided between filter plates to travel, thereby separating cake, and which causes all the filter cloths to simultaneously travel by a single driving source.SOLUTION: In a filter cloth traveling filter press, a slide shaft 8 is provided above a plurality of filter plates 5... arranged in parallel so as to be freely openable and closable. A bevel gear slide 10 arranged on the upper part of each filter plate 5 is fitted to the slide shaft 8 so as to be freely movable only in an axial direction. Filter cloths 9 provided between the filter plates 5 and 5 are connected to the bevel gear slide 10 in an interlocked manner, and a pair of the filter cloths 9 whose upper parts are coupled together are caused to vertically travel by rotating the slide shaft 8. Filter cloth driving shafts 20 for causing two pairs of filter cloths 9a and 9b arranged between the filter plates to travel are each connected to the slide shaft 8 in an interlocked manner, so that the two pairs of the filter cloths can be caused to simultaneously travel by a single driving source. |
