A control device (7) of a microgrid of the present invention, including at least one heat engine power generator (2n) which is connected to a load (11) via a distribution line (10) and operates a heat engine to generate electric power; a natural energy power generation device (3) which is connected to the distribution line (10) and generates the electric power by use of natural energy; and an electric storage device (6) including a storage battery (4) and an electric power converter (5), the electric storage device being configured to cause the electric power converter (5) to charge the storage battery (4) with the electric power fed via the distribution line (10) and discharge the storage battery (4) to feed the electric power to the distribution line (10), the control device being configured to control the at least one heat engine power generator (2n) to perform or stop power generation and control the electric storage device (6) to charge or discharge the storage battery (4), to compensate for surplus or deficient electric power of the electric power of the electric power generated in the natural energy power generation device (3) with respect to an electric power demand of the load (11) and to maintain the storage battery (4) in a chargeable or dischargeable state.
