[Class 99 (i)] A rainwater pipe &c. or shoe 1 therefor, adapted to direct water &c. into a drain with a minimum of splashing, is provided with two longitudinally-spaced baffles or vanes 4, 8 which are located on opposite sides of the pipe or shoe, adjacent its outlet 2, and terminate short of the centre of the pipe. As applied to a shoe having an outward bend 3 as shown, the baffle 4 is disposed on the rearward side of the shoe and the baffle 8 on the forward side at approximately the upper and lower limits of the bend respectively.
