PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card production device capable of removing burrs comprising a protective film transferred to a card base material.SOLUTION: A card production device includes: an image forming part 22; a transfer part 23; and a polish part (removal part) 26. The image forming part 22 forms an image on a surface 11a of a card base material 11. The transfer part 23 transfers a protective film 46b of a transfer ribbon (transfer body) 46B having a film base material 46a and the protective film 46b superimposed on the film base material 46a to one side of the card base material 11 on which the image is formed. A polish part 26 is provided in the middle of a middle step conveying passage 20b1 on which produced cards 10 are conveyed from the transfer part 23 to a card stacker (card stacking part) 29 to stack them, and removes burrs 46c generating around the card base material 11 and comprising the protective film 46b transferred to the card base material 11 by brushing the card base material 11. |
