PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the content of emergency broadcasting, including broadcasting by an attendant via microphone input, communicable to a hearing-impaired person including an elderly person.SOLUTION: A broadcast signal line 14 drawn from emergency broadcasting equipment 10 is connected to a speaker 12 installed in a prescribed broadcasting area. In the event of a fire, the emergency broadcasting equipment 10 transmits prescribed emergency broadcasting which is preliminarily recorded and stored in a voice memory 42 or an audio signal of emergency broadcasting input from a microphone 16, to the speaker 12 for the purpose of outputting. The emergency broadcasting equipment 10 includes a character conversion unit 50, which recognizes a character from the audio signal of the emergency broadcasting, converts it to emergency broadcasting character information, and has the converted emergency broadcasting character information transmitted by a radio transmission unit 52 and a wired transmission unit 54 to the broadcasting area. |
