PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking aid which is capable of preventing unsteadiness of a distal end and has versatility.SOLUTION: A cane 4 includes a shaft 41 to be held by a user, a ferrule 42 provided on a distal end side of the shaft 41, and a weight 43 provided on the distal end side of the shaft 41, at least a part of the weight 43 is freely attachable and detachable, and the weights in various forms can be applied. Since the weight 43 is provided on the distal end side of the shaft 41, when the user walks using the cane 4, the distal end can hit a ground surface without being unsteady, and the distal end of the cane 4 can be firmly grounded to the ground surface by the heaviness of the weight 43. Also, since the centroid of the cane 4 is positioned on the distal end side, a relationship of the distal end and the shaft 41 held by the user becomes a pendulum, the user of the cane 4 can rhythmically walk, and the fatigue of an arm moving the cane 4 can be reduced. Further, since the weight 43 in various forms can be applied, the user can mount the weight 43 of the heaviness according to his/her physical force on the distal end side of the shaft 41. |
