<PICT:0432318/III/1> An apparatus for immersing packages in melted wax comprises a tank 5 for the wax 6, an immersing wheel 4, a feed transfer wheel 12 and a discharge transfer wheel 14, the three wheels having interengaging teeth 8. The packages 9 arrive on a multiple chain endless-belt conveyer 10, and are discharged on to a similar conveyer 13, below which is provided a frame 18, vibrated by a reciprocating member 19 to remove superfluous wax from the packages. A heating member 24 may be provided below the frame 18. |
