摘要 Analysis of cellular network base stations may be performed by a computational engine 107. A ranking of the cellular network base stations, generated at an Automatic Neighbour Relation, ANR, function 105 of a Self-Organising Network, SON, platform 100 is received. A set of base stations (121-124, figure 3) for coordinated operation is determined based on the received ranking of the base stations from Neighbour Relation ranking function 106. The type of coordinated operation comprises one or more of: coordinated scheduling; joint transmission; and joint reception. The computational engine further comprises a performance indicator interface, configured to receive information about performance indicators for the base stations from an Operation Support System, OSS, 110 said performance indicator being a Key Performance Indicator, KPI, such as a capacity level and/or a user throughput level, for the base stations. Each of the cellular network base stations comprises: a respective Base Band Unit, BB (10, figure 1a); and a respective Remote Radio Unit, RRU (20) and wherein the RRU of each cellular network base station is located at the same site as the BBU of that cellular network base station.
