The present disclosure relates to a conductor bar, a use of a certain material for manufacturing a conductor bar, and to a method for impregnating a conductor bar. An object of the invention is to provide for an alternative impregnation of a conductor bar for an electric machine. The invention discloses a conductor bar for an electric machine provided with a thermoplastic material, the use of a thermoplastic material for manufacturing a conductor bar of an electric machine, and a method for impregnating a conductor bar with a thermoplastic material.
