PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detergent excellent in defoamability and improved in rinsability.SOLUTION: The detergent includes a compound (A) represented by formula (I): R1-X-Y and a surfactant (B) except the (A) component and higher fatty acid salts, and has a mass ratio of the (B) component/the (A) component of ≥1. In the formula (I), R1 is a 5-21C alkyl group; X is a group selected from -O-, -COO- and -CONH-; and Y is a 3-16C alkyl group or -(R2O)-R3 (R2 is a 2-4C alkyl group, m is the number of 1 to 5, and R3 is a 1-16C alkyl group, a phenyl group or a benzyl group). |
