An image specification system includes a sender and a receiver. The sender includes a determination unit and a sending unit. The receiver includes a receiving unit, an obtainment unit and an image specification unit. The receiving unit receives first time information on a time at which a positional relationship between a first object provided with the sender and a second object is a predetermined state, sent from the sending unit when the determination unit determines that the positional relationship is the predetermined state. The obtainment unit obtains images successively captured by an image pickup unit and correlated with respective second time information on times at which the respective images are captured. The image specification unit specifies, from the images, an image correlated with second time information corresponding to the first time information. |
