Systems and methods enable a user of a dual-SIM dual active (DSDA) wireless device to handle multiple simultaneous independent real time calls SIMs to prevent calls from being dropped on a multi-SIM wireless device. In the various embodiments, a DSDA device user on an active call may receive another incoming voice call and select to process the incoming voice call using a voice/text conversation mode.
