PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively select a segment to be stored in a content distribution system for distributing a content by dividing the content into one or more segments, and allowing a communication apparatus to store a received segment for succeeding distribution.SOLUTION: The communication apparatus includes communication means which when receiving a segment as a response to transfer of a distribution request message, transfers the segment to a transmission source of the distribution request message and determination means which, when there is no idle capacity for storing the received segment, determines a segment not to be stored in storage means in accordance with discarding order of the received segment and segments stored in the storage means. The determination means uses round trip time from the transfer of the distribution request message indicating the segment up to the reception of the segment as a response to the transfer of the distribution request message for determination of the segment discharging order. |
