PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal head capable of reducing the possibility that a radiator is peeled from a substrate.SOLUTION: A thermal head X1 includes: a head base 3 including a substrate, a heating part provided on the substrate, and an electrode provided on the substrate and electrically connected with the heating part; a radiator 1 which is disposed adjacent to the head base 3 and is used for radiating heat of the heating part; and a joint member 4 which is disposed in a through hole 1b provided at the radiator 1 and joins the head base 3 to the radiator 1. The joint member 4 includes: a first region which has multiple voids therein and is disposed at the substrate 7 side; and a second region which forms a portion other than the first region. The void ratio of the joint member 4 in the second region is larger than a void ratio of the joint member 4 in the first region. |
