Provided is a power transmission device for a vehicle. In the power transmission device with a crank-type stepless speed changing mechanism, the durability of bearings for supporting an input shaft and an output shaft to a speed changer housing is improved. One pair of side walls (11a, 11b), for supporting two end parts of the input shaft (12) and the output shaft (13) respectively, of the speed changer housing (11) are provided with input shaft through holes (11c) and output shaft through holes (11d). The input shaft through holes are arranged on an action line (Lf) of a load transmitted from a connecting rod (33) through the input shaft and bearings (21, 22) on the input shaft side, and the output shaft through holes are arranged on an action line (Lf) of the load transmitted from the connecting rod through the input shaft and bearings (34, 35) on the output shaft side, so that when the load is transmitted from the connecting rod to the pair of side walls, the side walls are bent around the input shaft through holes and the output shaft through holes, so that a peak load input to the bearings is reduced, and the durability is improved. |
