PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bulb socket which can mitigate stress concentration on an elastic piece when fitting the bulb socket.SOLUTION: A bulb socket 50 has a bulb fitting part 54 where a bulb is inserted and a connector connection part 58 in which an external connector is inserted. A connector connection part 58 is placed in the way that it extends from the bulb fitting part 54 in an almost orthogonal direction. The bulb fitting part 54 has a circular flange 64 extending in a radial direction and engaging pieces 82 to 85 projecting in a radial direction on an outside surface. The circular flange 64 has: arc-shaped elastic pieces 66A, 66B extending in a circumferential direction of the circular flange 64; and a linear elastic piece 70 extending in the radial direction of the circular flange. When the bulb socket 50 is observed from the direction perpendicular to the surface of the circular flange 64, the linear elastic piece 70 is positioned at a part where the circular flange 64 overlaps the connector connection part 58, and the arc-shaped elastic pieces 66A, 66B are positioned at the other parts. |
