PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hearing aid fitting system that can reduce a risk of occurrence of howling.SOLUTION: A hearing aid fitting system has a microphone, a hearing aid processor connected to the microphone, a receiver connected to the hearing aid processor, a measuring sound generator for generating a measuring sound from the receiver connected to the hearing aid processor, a measuring sound detector which is connected to the microphone and detects the measuring sound emitted from the receiver, a howling predicting unit which is connected to the measuring sound generator and the measuring sound detector and predicts occurrence of howling on the basis of sound pressure information output from the measuring sound generator and sound pressure information detected by the measuring sound detector, and notifying means for notifying occurrence of howling to a user when the occurrence of howling is predicted by the howling predicting unit. Probability of occurrence of howling can be determined in accordance with the individual difference of the shape of external acoustic meatus, auricle or the like of a deaf person or the type of an ear chip mounted in a hearing aid under fitting. |
