PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separation container set which has a double structure comprising an outer container and an inner container and achieves both reduction of the residual liquid amount and suppression of overflow.SOLUTION: A separation container is for separating a separation object from a liquid sample and includes a cylindrical inner container whose upper and lower ends are opened, and a bottom-closed cylindrical outer container whose upper end is opened and whose lower end is closed. The inner container can be inserted into the outer container. The separation container has a clearance between the outer and inner containers from the lower end of the inner container to the upper end of the outer container in a state of inserting the inner container into the outer container. The clearance comprises a capillary region which is formed in a direction from the lower end to the upper end, and a liquid reservoir region which is formed on the capillary region by being connected to the capillary region. Both reduction of the residual amount and suppression of overflow can be achieved by the clearance. |
