PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a solid electrolyte and a composite electrolyte which can prevent a reaction of a complex metal oxide and water, and suppress the worsening of a cycle performance in repetition of charge and discharge; and a lithium ion secondary battery arranged by such a solid electrolyte or composite electrolyte.SOLUTION: A solid electrolyte having a lithium ion-conducting property comprises: a complex metal oxide of a garnet type structure including Li, La and Zr, and having a lithium ion-conducting property; and a coat film including a lithium phosphate and covering the surface of the complex metal oxide. A lithium ion secondary battery 1 includes: a positive electrode 2; a negative electrode 3; and a composite electrolyte 4 sandwiched between the positive electrode 2 and the negative electrode 3. The composite electrolyte 4 has: a porous body including the solid electrolyte and an organic polymer; and a polymer gel filled in pores of the porous body. |
