PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a sufficient survival space from which a driver can escape rapidly, even when an external force is applied to the periphery of a front window from the front.SOLUTION: A lower part of a steering column bracket 19, which is assembled to the cabin side of a dash panel 8 via a steering support 9, is elongated and fixed to a floor 4. The steering column bracket 19 can function as a stiffener that supports backward tilting of the dash panel 8 by the external force from the front. |
