Photosensitive resin composition for color filter and uses thereof

The present invention relates to a photosensitive resin composition for a color filter and uses thereof. The photosensitive resin composition includes an alkali-soluble resin (A), a compound (B) containing an ethylenically unsaturated group, a photoinitiator (C), a pigment (D) and an organic solvent (E). The photosensitive resin composition according to the present invention can improve linearity of pattern with high finesse and developing-resistance of the color filter.

1. A photosensitive resin composition for a color filter comprising:
an alkali-soluble resin (A); a compound (B) containing an ethylenically unsaturated group; a photoinitiator (C); a pigment (D); and an organic solvent (E); wherein: the compound (B) containing the ethylenically unsaturated group comprises a first compound (B-1) having an ethylenically unsaturated group obtained by reacting a mixture, and the mixture comprises an epoxy compound (b-1-1) represented by Formula (1) and a compound (b-1-2) having at least one carboxylic acid group and at least one ethylenically unsaturated group; in Formula (1): R1, R2 and R3 independently represent a branched or linear C1-C6 alkylene group or a branched or linear C1-C6 oxyalkylene group; E1, E2 and E3 independently represent an epoxy-containing group represented by Formula (2), an organic group represented by Formula (3) or a hydrogen atom, wherein at least one of E1, E2 and E3 represents the epoxy-containing group represented by Formula (2); and in Formulae (2) and (3), R4 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, wherein the compound (B) containing the ethylenically unsaturated group comprises a second compound (B-2) having an ethylenically unsaturated group represented by Formula (4); in Formula (4): R5 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; R6 represents a hydrogen atom, an acryloyl group or a methyl acryloyl group; and n represents an integer of 2 to 3.
