1. A connection element for a support frame system comprising:
a first part element configured substantially in U form having a first open end and a second part element also configured substantially in U form having a second open end, the first and second part elements being joinable together so that the first and second open ends face one another, an attachment having projections inserted into corresponding receivers of the second part element that hold the attachment in a correct position when the connection element is in an assembled state with the first and second part elements joined together, a fastening element at least partly receivable within a socket in the attachment having the projections, the attachment transmitting assembly torque from the fastening element, and positioning elements, included as part of the second part element, that project beyond the first part element when the connection element is in the assembled state.
