Context sensing for computing devices

A method and system for context sensing is described herein. The method includes determining if sensor data obtained via a number of sensors exceed a predetermined threshold. The method also includes increasing a sampling rate of any of the sensors to obtain context data corresponding to a computing device if the sensor data exceed the threshold. The method further includes analyzing the context data to classify a context of the computing device.

1. A method for context sensing, comprising:
determining if sensor data obtained via a plurality of sensors exceed a predetermined threshold; if the sensor data exceed the threshold, increasing a sampling rate of any of the plurality of sensors to obtain context data corresponding to a computing device; analyzing the context data to classify a context of the computing device; analyzing the context data to determine meaningful context data and meaningless context data; discarding the meaningless context data; and analyzing the meaningful context data to classify the context of the computing device via an offload engine.
