A polymerizable liquid crystal compound represented by Chemical Formula 1: wherein, in Chemical Formula 1, A is a phenylene group or a phenylene group substituted with a C1 to C20 alkyl group, L1 and L2 are each independently a substituted or unsubstituted divalent aliphatic hydrocarbon group, a substituted or unsubstituted divalent aromatic hydrocarbon group, a substituted or unsubstituted divalent alicyclic hydrocarbon group, or a combination thereof, n1 and n2 are each independently an integer of 0 or 1, A1 and A2 are each independently (CRR′2)n (wherein R and R′ are independently hydrogen or a C1 to C10 alkyl group, and n is an integer of 1 to 10) or a phenylene group, R1 to R8 are independently hydrogen, a halogen, a cyano group, a nitro group, an aldehyde group, an amine group, a carboxyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C1 to C20 alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C2 to C20 alkenyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C2 to C20 alkynyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C2 to C20 ketone group —C(═O)Ra, a substituted or unsubstituted C2 to C20 ester group —C(═O)ORb, a substituted or unsubstituted C3 to C30 cycloalkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C6 to C30 aryl group, —S(═O)Rc, —S(═O)ORd, —S(═O)2Re, or —S(═O)2ORf (wherein Ra to Rf are hydrogen, a C1 to C20 alkyl group, or a C6 to C30 aryl group), R10 to R13 are independently hydrogen, a halogen, a cyano group, a nitro group, an aldehyde group, a substituted or unsubstituted C1 to C20 alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C2 to C20 alkenyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C2 to C20 alkynyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C2 to C20 ketone group —C(═O)Ra, a substituted or unsubstituted C2 to C20 ester group —C(═O)ORb, a substituted or unsubstituted C3 to C30 cycloalkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C6 to C30 aryl group, —S(═O)Rc, —S(═O)ORd, —S(═O)2Re, or —S(═O)2ORf (wherein Ra to Rf are hydrogen, a C1 to C20 alkyl group, or a C6 to C30 aryl group), wherein at least one pair of substituents R10 and R11 and substituents R12 and R13 optionally forms a spiro structure, Y1 and Y2 are each independently —O—, —S—, or —N(Ra)— (wherein Ra is hydrogen, a C1 to C20 alkyl group, or a C6 to C30 aryl group), Y3 and Y4 are each independently a linking group selected from —C(═O)O— and —OC(═O), Y5 and Y6 are each independently a linking group selected from —O—, —S—, —N(Ra)—, —C(═O)—, —C(═O)O—, —OC(═O)—, —C(═O)S—, —N(Rb)C(═O)—, and —C(═O)N(Rc)— (wherein Ra, Rb, and Rc are each independently hydrogen, a C1 to C20 alkyl group, or a C6 to C30 aryl group) or a C2 to C20 alkylene group wherein non-adjacent —(CH2)— is replaced by at least one of the linking groups, and X1 and X2 are each independently a polymerizable functional group selected from a substituted or unsubstituted C2 to C10 alkenyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C2 to C10 alkynyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted oxetanyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted (meth)acryl group, a (meth)acryloyloxy group, a (meth)acryloylamino group, a (meth)acryloyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted maleoyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted epoxy group, or a substituted or unsubstituted epoxy cycloalkyl group. |
