A camera device of a vehicle, comprising: a camera arrangement, including: a camera housing;an image sensor; andan optical element contained in the camera housing;wherein the camera housing includes: (i) a central area for guiding at least one portion of a first incident radiation to the optical element; and (ii) at least one border area for directing at least one portion of at least one second incident radiation onto the optical element, the at least one second incident radiation running one of in an opposite direction or at an obtuse angle with respect to the first incident radiation,wherein the central area is transparent or mirrored and the at least one border area is mirrored or transparent, andwherein the camera arrangement is configured to be positioned so as to face the front windshield in the vehicle to provide to the image sensor a forward-looking exterior view via the central area or the at least one bordered area and to provide to the image sensor a rearward-looking interior view via the at least one bordered area or the central area.
