A topical drug composition for treating a β-catenin-mediated disorder in a mammal is provided comprising a Nefopam compound selected from Nefopam, or a functionally equivalent analog, prodrug, salt or solvate thereof.

A topical formulation of Nefopam comprising: 10 mg/g Nefopam HCl or a functionally equivalent salt thereof; 30 mg/g diethylene glycol monoethyl ether; 40 mg/g cetyl alcohol, 30 mg/g stearyl alcohol, 40 mg/g polysorbate 60, 0.5 mg/g propylparaben, 22.5 mg/g isopropyl myristate, purified water, 1 mg/g methylparaben, 0.02 mg/g EDTA, sodium hydroxide; and 5 mg/g calcium gluconate.
