The present invention is a blocking structure in which an opening part of a cylindrical housing for a gas producer is blocked by an igniter, wherein: the cylindrical housing has a stepwise surface formed inside a peripheral wall section of the opening part, and a leading end peripheral wall part disposed from the stepwise surface to the opening part; the igniter has an igniter body and an igniter collar having an annular plate section that encircles one portion of the igniter body and that forms the largest outer diameter and a peripheral wall section excluding the annular plate section; the annular plate section has a first annular surface section facing an ignition part side of the igniter body, a second annular surface section facing a current-carrying pin side of the igniter body, an annular peripheral surface section between the first annular surface section and the second annular surface section, a first annular rim section which is a boundary portion between the first annular surface section and the annular peripheral surface section, and a second annular rim section which is a boundary portion between the second annular surface section and the annular peripheral surface section; the second annular rim section has three or more surfaces that are tilted; the first annular surface section of the igniter collar makes contact with the stepwise surface of the cylindrical housing; and the second annular rim section and the annular peripheral surface section of the igniter collar make contact with the leading end peripheral wall part. |
