Provided is a pneumatic tire which enables improvement of in-plane flexural rigidity while maintaining good flexibility with respect to the out-of-plane deformation of a reinforcing member, and thereby enables improvement of tire characteristics. The pneumatic tire according to the present invention is provided with an annular tread section (1) extending in a tire circumferential direction, a pair of sidewall sections (2) provided on both sides of the tread section (1), and a pair of bead sections (3) provided inside these sidewall sections (2) in a tire radial direction, and is also provided with a reinforcing member (10) which includes a plurality of reinforcing cords (11-14) oriented in at least three directions, and which reinforcing member has a network structure in which at least three reinforcing cords (11-14) oriented in different directions are joined together at at least some of the intersections of the reinforcing cords (11-14). |
