A lift (1) for motor vehicles, said lift comprising: • - two parallel runways (2) for supporting the wheels of a vehicle, each runway (2) being provided with two devices (4) for its raising from the floor (3), said two devices (4) of each runway (2) being spaced apart in a balanced manner along the direction of longitudinal extension of the runway itself, whereby each raising device (4) comprises: • - a first main arm (6) and a second main arm (8) of equal length, hinged together at one end and hinged at the other end respectively to the floor (3) and to the runway (2) about two vertically superposed axes, • - a first and a second auxiliary arm (20, 24) hinged together at one end, the first auxiliary arm (20) being hinged to said first main arm (6) and also being provided at its other end with first means (22) for its sliding along the floor (3), or along said runway (2), the second auxiliary arm (24) being hinged to the second main arm (8), • - an actuator (30) with a first end hinged to a main arm (6, 8) in proximity to the floor (3) or to said runway (2), and with a second end hinged to one end of a lever (40), which is centrally hinged to the other main arm (8, 6) and is provided at its other end with second sliding means (45). |
