A toilet 12 provided with a toilet bowl portion 20 with a waste discharge hole 26 formed in a bottom portion thereof, and a valve structure 34 capable of opening and closing the waste discharge hole 26, characterized in that the toilet bowl portion 20 is formed from a flexible material. Thus, the toilet bowl portion 20 is made to bend easily when waste enters the toilet bowl portion 20. Accordingly, as waste accumulates in the bottom portion of the toilet bowl portion 20, the toilet bowl portion 20 bends, and the slope of the inner surface of the toilet bowl portion 20 increases, making it easier for the waste to be guided to the bottom portion of the toilet bowl portion 20. This makes the waste less liable to remain in the toilet bowl portion. As a result, the amount of washing water used for washing the inner surface of the toilet bowl portion can be reduced, thus providing a toilet suitable for use in an environment in which water supply is unavailable. |
