The present invention relates to: a method for producing a double transgenic fat-1/hairless mouse in which omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids for preventing and treating infectious diseases are expressed; and a use thereof. Specifically, the inventors have obtained a mouse in which 96.875% of the genetic background of a mouse having a fat-1 gene is infiltrated by that of a hairless mouse of a SKH-1 strain by repeatedly breeding the mouse having a fat-1 gene with the hairless mouse of a SKH-1 strain, and the double transgenic mouse can be useful for observing an anti-inflammatory effect of omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids since omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids are expressed in the mouse.
