[Problem] To enable polymers to efficiently absorb a liquid by preventing movement of and an uneven distribution of the polymers before the liquid absorption. [Solution] This polymer sheet (4) is divided into a plurality of polymer-containing cells (14) in which superabsorbent polymers (12) are enclosed by a first joining portion (13) that joins an upper-layer sheet (10) and a lower-layer sheet (11) to each other, and is structured such that, in the center of each polymer-containing cell (14), a polymer-free region (16) where no superabsorbent polymer (12) exists is formed by a second joining portion (15) that joins the upper-layer sheet (10) and the lower-layer sheet (11) to each other. The joint strength of the second joining portion (15) is set to be smaller than the joint strength of the first joining portion (13) so that, when the superabsorbent polymers (12) have swollen by absorbing a liquid, the joint of the second joining portion (15) will be separated prior to the joint of the first joining portion (13). |
