CONTAINER DEPLOYMENT METHOD AND APPARATUS

Disclosed are a container deployment method and apparatus. The method comprises: receiving a first container establishment request that carries a required resource capacity and a required mirror image identifier, wherein the required mirror image identifier is an identifier of a mirror image corresponding to an application that needs to be run; selecting at least two first working nodes from a cluster of working nodes of which an unused resource capacity is greater than the required resource capacity; determining a working node as a target working node from the at least two first working nodes according to a mirror image stored in the at least two first working nodes and a required mirror image identifier; and sending a second container establishment request that carries the required resource capacity and the required mirror image identifier to the target working node. By implementing the embodiments of the present invention, an identifier of a stored mirror image is used as a basis when a container is deployed, so that the container to be deployed uses a deployed resource, thereby saving resources.
