A method of calibrating a camera device and a camera device utilizing the same, displaying a calibration signal and a guide signal on a screen during a camera device calibration procedure, to enable a user having no calibration experience and calibration knowledge to move, according to the calibration signal and the guide signal, the camera device or the screen, reducing difficulty of camera device calibration. The method comprises: obtaining, by the camera device, a first set of image, and computing to obtain first position information (101); generating, according to the first position information, a first calibration signal, and displaying the first calibration signal on a calibration target board on the screen (102); displaying a guide signal on the screen (103) to enable a user to move, according to the guide signal, the camera device or the screen. |
