A low dropout linear regulator, a method for increasing stability thereof and a phase-locked loop. The low dropout linear regulator comprises a reference voltage source (201), an error amplifier (202), a regulating circuit (203), a load (206), a first compensation circuit (204) and a second compensation circuit (205). The first compensation circuit (204) is coupled with the regulating circuit (203) and is used for adjusting a dominant pole and a secondary dominant pole of the low dropout linear regulator to adjust a phase margin; the second compensation circuit (205) is used for decreasing the dominant pole of the low dropout linear regulator, on the basis that the dominant pole and the secondary dominant pole of the low dropout linear regulator are adjusted by the first compensation circuit (204), and further increasing the secondary dominant pole to adjust the phase margin and the gain bandwidth product of the low dropout linear regulator. The low dropout linear regulator is able to reduce markedly the gain bandwidth product and the value of the dominant pole, increasing the value of the secondary dominant pole, and thereby allowing for better noise performance of the error amplifier (202). |
